Dr. Kathy Fresquez-Chavez, DNP, FNP-C, MSN

Doctorate of Nursing Practice, Certified Nurse Practitioner, Master of Science of Nursing

Kathy attended New Mexico State University where she received her bachelor’s degree, University of Phoenix for her Master’s in Nursing, University of New Mexico for her Nurse Practitioner and University of Alabama in Birmingham for her doctorate.  Kathy has always grown up in small rural communities and feels at home in Los Lunas and in the South Valley. Kathy and Frank have raised their niece Sabrina as a child and is considered their daughter and has been a blessing to our family.

Kathy’s experiences include Emergency room, Behavior Health, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Pediatrics, Neuro-surgical. Kathy Brings over 12 years experience as a Nurse Practitioner and over 25 years in the medical field with 16 years of higher education.

Kathy is a member of the New Mexico Nurse Practitioner Council, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and is a member of the Golden Key Honor Society at University of Alabama in Birmingham.

Kathy enjoys music of all forms, she sings, plays guitar and piano, and involves herself with many school music functions. Kathy also cantors at Our Lady of Fatima and is blessed for God, the community and the families that have enriched her life.
